❓ Introduce yourself to the readers! Tell us about your family, career, etc.!

🗣 My name is Bálint Demus, I am 22 years old. I was born in Szeged, and I have been living in Aberdeen, Scotland, with my family since I was 8 years old. I have been playing football since my childhood, starting at the age of 6 in Hungary. My career began when I joined the Cove Rangers U18 team at the age of 16. After my first, and also successful, season, I had the opportunity to play as a goalkeeper for the U20 team, train with the first team, and sit on the bench as a substitute. In the following years, I played in the Highland League as a loan player for several teams to gain experience, where I had successful seasons as the first-choice goalkeeper. Currently, I am the first-choice goalkeeper at my academy team.

❓How does it feel to live in Scotland?

🗣 I really enjoy living here; there are great opportunities, and I see my future here because of my family and career. Although the frequent rain sometimes bothers me, I've gotten used to it.

❓ What are your plans for the future: transferring abroad, moving up in the Scottish league, or perhaps joining a Hungarian team?

🗣 My plan is to improve my goalkeeping. If I succeed, I will have the opportunity to advance, either at my current club or possibly at another club, if the current situation remains stagnant for a few years.

❓If you have the opportunity, do you watch Hungarian football? Do you have a favorite Hungarian team?

🗣 I don't watch Hungarian football, except for the national team, which I always follow. I also usually watch Szoboszlai's matches.

❓Do you have a role model?

🗣 I don't have a role model, but my favorite goalkeeper was Buffon. In my opinion, there isn't currently a goalkeeper who stands out like past stars, such as Buffon, Schmeichel, etc.

❓Which national team would you represent: Scotland or Hungary? And why?

🗣 I would choose the Hungarian national team because it is my homeland, and I would be very proud to wear the jersey with the Hungarian crest and represent my country in international tournaments.
