Interview posted on September 14, 2024

❓ Please introduce yourself to the readers! Tell us a bit about your family and your career as well!

🗣 Hello!

My name is Jonah Lefevre. I am a goalkeeper from the 2008 generation.
I was born to a French father and a Hungarian mother, so I have dual citizenship.
Currently, I am attending high school.
I started playing football when I was six years old. I began as a defender, and I have been a goalkeeper for six years

❓ How does it feel to live and play football in France?

🗣 I am lucky because I have had the opportunity to play in both countries.

I can say that the style of play is quite different between the two countries.

❓ What are your short- and long-term goals in football? Is there a particular club or league where you would like to play in the future?

🗣 I have plans. In the short term, I would like to join the academy of a professional team in France and represent the Hungarian youth national team.

In the long term, I aim to become a professional footballer and participate in international competitions.

❓ If you have the chance, do you watch Hungarian football? Do you have a favorite Hungarian team?

🗣 When I am in Hungary and have the opportunity, I watch matches. I like UTE (Újpest).

Do you have a role model?

🗣 My role model is Manuel Neuer because he has changed the role of goalkeepers significantly, and I admire Mike Maignan for his mentality.

❓ What do you enjoy doing in your free time when you are not training or playing?

🗣 When I'm not playing, I enjoy watching matches and highlights online.

❓ If you had the opportunity, which national team would you choose: France or Hungary? Why?

🗣 If I had the chance to play for Hungary, it would be an honor.
The future will give the answer.
