❓Please introduce yourself to the readers! Tell us a bit about yourself, your family, and your career so far!
🗣 Hi everyone!
My name is Justin Varga, I am 17 years old, and I was born in Kaposvár. I joined my first team, Olasz Focisuli, when I was six years old, where I learned the basics of football. Currently, I play for Welling United in England, where I have an active contract. I joined my current team thanks to Norwich City.❓ How does it feel to play at the Welling United academy? What is the environment like there?
🗣 Playing at the academy feels amazing, especially because I sometimes get the chance to play with older players. Everyone at the academy knows me, and the facilities are excellent. We have several grass and artificial turf pitches, as the weather is often bad, so we sometimes train on the artificial turf. However, this doesn't take away from the intensity of our training – we always work at a very high pace. Sometimes, we even have two training sessions a day, and the coaches constantly push us to give our best in every session.
❓ What are your short- and long-term goals in football? Is there a club or league where you would especially like to play in the future?
🗣 My short-term goals include finishing on the podium with my team and advancing as far as possible in the cup we are participating in. Among my long-term goals, the most important is to become a professional footballer and win every possible trophy with my future team!
❓ Do you have a role model?
🗣 Lionel Messi is my role model. Since I was a child, I have always wanted to be like him – the way he plays on the field and understands football is truly unique! I also owe a lot to my parents because they have always given me everything. I grew up in poor conditions, but despite that, my parents did everything they could for me. They always bought me football boots, even if it meant they couldn't afford new clothes or shoes for themselves. I am forever grateful to them because without their support, I wouldn't be where I am today.
❓ What do you like to do in your free time when you're not training or playing?
🗣 In my free time – although it might sound strange – I enjoy training the most. I always strive to push myself to the limit and work hard not only on the field but off it as well. Of course, if I have time, I enjoy going to watch a football match or following the games on TV.
❓ If you have the opportunity, do you watch Hungarian football? Do you have a favorite Hungarian team?
🗣 I always watch the matches of the Hungarian national team, but I don't follow the Hungarian league and don't have a favorite Hungarian team.
❓ If you had the opportunity, would you represent Hungary as a national team footballer?
🗣 Absolutely! I would proudly represent my country, and it would be a huge honor for me to play in the colors of Hungary!
