Introduce yourself to the readers! Tell us about your family, origin, childhood, etc.!

🗣 Hello, I'm Nicolas, and I was born in Oristano (Sardinia) on April 9th, 2007. I started playing football when I was 3 years old with a small team in Oristano because my parents have always liked football. My dad played for a small team in Sardinia when he was younger, and my mother likes football because her father played for a team in Hungary, and she used to follow the matches.

When I was 6 years old, I changed teams and joined Simba. For me, this team is very important because Gianfranco Matteoli (who played for Cagliari and Inter) was my coach and taught me to play like a professional player. I have to thank him very much for that.

Now I have been playing at Cagliari for 6 years. During the first 3 years, I played many matches, but now much fewer

Have you already been contacted by the Hungarian youth national team, or perhaps by the Italian team?

🗣 I have never been contacted by a national team, but I'm training every day to achieve that goal.

❓ What is Cagliari's academy like?

🗣 Cagliari's academy is good, and we work a lot on tactics. I think I have grown a lot in this aspect. Cagliari's academy is good also because it helps us with school, providing documents to make studying easier.

❓ What are your plans for the future: transfer to a another country, move up in Italian football, or maybe move to Hungary?

🗣 Right now, I don't know what my future holds. This is my last year under contract with Cagliari. My dream is to play in England or Germany, but for now, my future is uncertain.

❓ If you have the opportunity, do you watch Hungarian football? Do you have a favorite Hungarian team/player?

🗣 In Italy, it's difficult to watch the Hungarian championship, but when the national team plays or any Hungarian team competes in European tournaments, I watch it.

❓ Which national team would you represent? Italy or Hungary? And why?

🗣 I want to represent Hungary and become like Lamine Yamal for Spain, aiming to win important trophies with Hungary.

Nicolas now plays for the Hungarian side ETO FC Győr, and he was on trial with another NB I club.
