❓1. Can you introduce yourself and tell us about your football journey so far?
🗣️ My name is Panagiotis Daniel Veves, I was born in Athens, Greece on February 24 2010, and I am half Greek and half Hungarian. I started playing Football in Greece aged 5, and then after I moved to North Carolina in the United States at 6 where I continued playing at NCFC. At 9 years old I moved to Miami where I played one year for Miami Rush, and then through the ages of 10-15 I played for Inter Miami. Now I have transferred to Benfica Residential Academy.
❓2. What are your short-term and long-term goals in football?
🗣️ My short-term goal in football is to make a transfer into Europe and sign a professional contract, and my long term goal is to win the Champions League and the Euros for either Greece or Hungary. I dream of one day playing for my hometown team of Olympiakos FC and also FC Barcelona.
❓3. Who is your role model and why?
🗣️ My role model is Cristiano Ronaldo because of his work ethic and the image he portrays to the younger generation. He was one of the players who made me fall in love with football and he inspired me to work as hard as him.
❓4. What do you usually do in your free time outside football?
🗣️ When I'm not training or playing matches I enjoy spending time with family and friends, although most of the time my time besides football is spent on studying and doing school work, as school is a big part of my life.
❓5. Have you already been in contact with the Hungarian Football Federation?
🗣️ The Hungarian Football Federation contacted me in late March of this year in regards to an ID camp happening in May, but unfortunately shortly after getting the news I broke three of my ribs in a match so I was unable to make a recovery before the camp. I would be very open to representing Hungary and I would love to have the honor of wearing the Hungarian badge one day.
